Full job description
Game Developers will be responsible for coding unique games and interactive projects for various platforms, creating audio and video, debugging, testing, and maintaining reports on programming development until all flaws are eliminated.
Essential Duties
- Manage the development of games and interactive applications, including virtual worlds, websites, and mobile initiatives, from pre-production to release, to meet defined budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
- Responsible for the timely delivery of the projects as a highly functional, usable experience.
- Create and manage schedules to ensure game development is completed in a timely manner.
- Continuously assess risk and keep the project’s scope in line with budget and schedule while paying attention to quality.
- As a team member, one teaches, serves clients and customers, leads, and works with diversity.
- Resolve and Identify conflicts between schedule, budget, and development goals.
- Foster positive working relationships, teamwork, and communication within the development teams.
- Identify, communicate, and direct key product designs that will drive product success.
- The person understands how systems work and is proficient in using technology.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Visual Design, Fine Arts, Communications, Cognitive Science or in a related arts field.1 year experience in game design and/or production.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of C++/C# computer languages and software.
- Academic experience with Unreal Engine 5.0 or later versions.
- Opportunity identification for improving coding, efficiency, and playability using technology.
- Experience working with designers and programmers.
- Experience working collaboratively with users to ensure correct coding of the game.
- Experience in identification of game revisions, modifying game coding to improve performance.
- Experience in project management and organization.
- Demonstrated knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques of game development.
- Experience in effective teamwork and interpersonal relations.
- Experience in interpreting messages into visual and metaphorical form.
- Experience in effectively establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Experience with documenting activities and progress of tasks.
